KAHAMA OIL MILLS
Kahama Oil Mills Limited (KOM) deals in three distinct lines of business which are:-
i. Procurement of cotton directly from co-operatives and ginning to produce lint for local and export markets of Asia,UAE and Europe.
ii. Extraction and processing of cotton seed to produce edible cooking oil as well as ensure the by-products of cake and husks are harnessed and made available for sale as animal feed.
iii. Manufacture of industrial products in the following line:
PVC poly pipes and fittings which are mainly used in water piping and sanitation in cities and villages.
Steel tubes for production of round and square pipes used in commercial, domestic, and industrial facilities.
Aluminium fabrication for production of galvanized iron sheets used for roofing.
Plastic pails and jerry cans used for packaging edible cooking oil and wholesale in the open market.
IPS plastic furniture and utensils used in households and various commercial and industrial setups.
KIMPEX (KAHAMA IMPORT AND EXPORT COMMERCIAL AGENCY LTD)
Kahama Import and Export Agency Limited (KIMPEX) is successful trading company whose main business involves importation, distribution, sale and installation of widely diversified products particularly: building materials, plant and machinery, equipment’s, automobiles and spare parts in addition to electric and electronics goods and agricultural machineries.
KIMPEX is one of the reputable supplier and service provider in the country, since the establishment, KIMPEX has won trust from its various customers which includes individuals, private companies, and Government entities. To date the company has supplied and conducted several projects across the country with its over 20 years of experience in the industry.
ROYAL SUPERMARKET
The supermarket is the leading supermarket in Kahama and carries a wide range of goods ranging from fast moving consumer goods to household goods, and stationery all of which are either imported by kimpex or locally manufactured in the various sectors of KOM’s manufacturing plants.
Royal Supermarket has a restaurant and bakery division called Royal Restaurant and Bakery.
SHINYANGA ROYAL PHARMACY
Shinyanga Royal pharmacy imports medicinal drugs and equipment and sells these products through its modern pharmacy in Kahama.
KOM FOOD PRODUCTS
KOMFood Products deals with processing of Sunflower edible cooking oil and sunflower seed cake.
